This is a bunch of screenshots from my 2014 project called "The Waker".
This is a 3D realtime scene in Unreal Engine 3. The scene had to run at a minimum of 60 frames per second on the provided computers and couldn’t exceed either 40mb of textures or 10mb of meshes.
There is a story concept behind this project. Long story short, an ice age hit Earth so suddenly that all life entered an eternal hibernation. One day, few centuries later, an oil well started burning and wakes up a plumber that was working in that area before the catastrophe. After realizing what the world has become, his objective is to wake up humanity. This is his first settlement. He obviously used his plumbing skills to arrange all this.
